FAA Written Tests

Great River Aviation is an approved testing center for all FAA and FCC written exams. We offer a very comfortable, quiet and clean environment for testing. The testing facilities are available to all pilots, whether test preparation has been accomplished with Great River Aviation or another facility. Tests may be scheduled between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri., or by appointment after hours.

Be sure to bring a photo ID and a written 'sign-off' from your instructor!

Standard Cost: $90

AOPA Member Reduced Rate: $80 (must present a valid, unexpired membership card)

To schedule an appointment for your test:

• Contact Great River Aviation at (217) 885-3353 to schedule a testing date and time, or Contact CATS (Computerized Aviation Testing Service) at 1-(800)-947-4228 at least one day prior to your test date to schedule downloading of your test to Great River Aviation.
