HISTORY
Curtis Aviation
was founded by Mike Curtis in 1976 in the State of Tennessee.
The Company originally sold
small aircraft in the
United States. In the early 1980's, Curtis Aviation grew to include
larger aircraft sales and added pilot services, flight instruction
and charter. In order to further accommodate aviation growth
and demands, Curtis Aviation relocated to a more central location
in the United States, Quincy, IL. were a part 141 Mitsubishi
MU-2 School developed. In August of 1991, Curtis Aviation
Services, Inc. was established in the State of Illinois. Mike
Curtis was presented with the opportunity to bid for the City
of Quincy's Fixed Base Operator in October of 2000. He won the
contract, allowing Curtis Aviation Services, Inc. to expand to
a full service FBO, offering fuel, aircraft sales, aircraft management,
aircraft rental and instruction, charter services , maintenance,
hangar storage, pilot supplies, rental and crew cars, etc.
Curtis Aviation Services, Inc. is an Air BP Dealer and a Cessna Pilot Center.
After flying all over the United States and Europe, logging more than 19,000
hours of corporate and commuter operations, Mike Curtis knows what the customer
wants and he fulfills that need with great service.
